I’ve been watching the ‘Legend of Bruce Lee’ series. I did not know he had such a serious temper problem, and was always fighting withe everyone. Now I don’t feel so bad, that I’m not the only one with that problem. Cultivating my fighting spirit is an important part of my self realization as a Master, and coming into my own as a Spirit Warrior. Thats why I decided to write a blog about it.
It started with me fighting on the playground as a kid. While other girls played house, I was getting into fights with boys. I had no clue why this was happening to me and not to other girls. Then throughout my whole life, I would get into fights with anyone and everyone, practically. Verbal and physical. If anyone was important in my life, we’d fight. I was told that I have an anger management problem, that I'm rude. Bruce Lee had the same problems, and was told the same things.
When I was young, I thought it was something like a curse, like a demonic cloud of conflict that followed me everywhere, and struck down all of my attempts at forming relationships.
I have punched so many walls, doors, floors and desks, that eventually I damaged my right wrist. I had to get surgery to fix that. After that I really deeply contemplated myself. What was it about my nature that insisted on fighting. I realized that its because I'm designed to be a warrior and that was not something that was meant to be eradicated. Instead I have to channel this energy in the right direction, or I would destroy everything. I tracked it, and I found that at its root, it’s a creative and even a healing energy, when utilized properly. Thankfully I found a good mentor, who helped me to channel my energy into being a Shamanic Warrior. I trained with a Shamanic Exorcist for 9 years, and had my own practice seeing clients, doing many thousands of exorcisms, spirit releasement, spiritual clearing, and spiritual cleansing work. Many other fellow healers were scared to even talk about this work. But I loved it. It was perfect for me. Clearing dark force attachments off people was not scary at all. It was exciting and meaningful work.
Bruce Lee was told by many people to stop fighting, to do something more 'practical' than martial arts. And I was told by many people to stop doing Shamanic Exorcism work, and do something 'safer'. Bruce Lee kept fighting. And I kept doing my Shamanic Energy work. Thats why he’s a legend, and all the people who told him to stop fighting are only known because of him, or not known.
The truth is, if I'm not doing Spirit Warrior work in this world, then I have nothing else to do here. So I won't stop doing my work, even if people don't understand it and are afraid of it. Bruce Lee never gave up his passion. All these women wanted to marry him, but they wanted him to quit doing Kung Fu. And he turned them down, and kept practicing Kung Fu. Something similar happened to me as well. I left behind a lot of friends and family members, who refused to understand and appreciate my work.
I studied with many teachers, and learned many healing modalities, and eventually developed my own healing style, which I call Spirit Warrior Medicine. Its mainly based on the shamanic energy medicine I learned from my main Shamanic mentor and from the 4 Winds Society training. But it also incorporates many elements of other ancient and modern healing modalities which worked the best in the real world, for me and for my clients in my practice.
Bruce Lee developed his own martial arts philosophy and style, called Jeet Kune Do. He combined Kung Fu and other martial arts forms, and created his own style. But really its not a rigid style, because by its nature, it’s a philosophy of integrating the essence of all that you personally learn. And every person learns something different in their life. So every person’s style would be, in fact, their own. This is very Shamanic actually. Shamans are known for shape shifting and being able to take the form of any living being on any dimension, so they could enter that dimension and learn from its inhabitants. In my shamanic healing practice, this is a very useful tool, to gather information for self realization and for healing.
I feel that I was born a Spiritual Warrior, and already on my own, naturally, have had the understanding and world view that in order to evolve, you have to learn from every experience. In order to cultivate the understanding of the world around you, you have to take the best of everything you encounter and put it together to comprise your tool box. In order to overcome life challenges, you have to incorporating the best, most useful elements of all the lessons you learn, from everyone, from all experiences. Everything is training and can make you smarter and stronger. I always knew this. I think this is just the natural expression of the Spirit Warrior Way. All Warriors innately know this and practice this. But Bruce Lee was special in that he formalized his training into a cohesive martial arts philosophy, a science that he could then teach to others.
In watching these movies about Bruce Lee, I was pleasantly surprised that his life challenges have many elements, that I see in my own life. And seeing how he overcame his own challenges, helps me to overcome mine. This is how I know he is a true teacher, because he continues to teach and inspire other warriors, even after his death.
There are very few people in our culture that I admire. I think a lot of the pacifism in our society is hypocritical and fake. A lot of the warmongering is based on evil intentions. A lot of new age spirituality is filled with false prophets, dark sorcery masquerading as love and light, satanists pretending to be gurus, etc. I trust very few people out there. I’m much more attracted to the ancient classic martial arts philosophy of the East and the Indigenous Shamanic forms of Spirituality, both of which I feel I already carry in my DNA.
I’m very interested in Martial Arts, but I realize that even the martial arts community has plenty of fakers as well. I’m ultra selective who I study with. Nevertheless, a Spiritual Warrior from any background is a unique type of person and I encounter them now and then.
I was working out at a park recently and a Marine spotted me, and thinking that I was also a Marine, approached me and we had a conversation about what being a Warrior means. I told him that I’m a Spiritual Warrior, and explained a bit what that means. The idea of a Spiritual battle between good and evil that is ongoing and bleeds through and affects our physical reality is present in all major religions and traditions. The difference between me and many other people (who know about it only as an abstraction) is that I participate in this battle consciously and tangibly, as a Light Warrior. It’s an art and a science, and my work produces real tangible results in people’s lives. Then he told me, about his experience and work as a warrior, for example having to spot dangerous people in a crowd.
The skills of spotting evil energy and evil people, requires the same principles, and the same instinctual intuitive knowing in the heart. Just at different levels.
We then worked out together for a bit. We challenged each other on who could do more pull ups. He then said, 'Whenever you are here, come work out with us. You are always welcome. You are family now.'
That stuck with me. He said we're family. We only talked for 20 mins or so, but I feel that this man knew my heart, he saw my true Warrior nature clearly and connected with it.
My own mother doesn't know my heart. My biological family never understood me, and didn't care to. They were always holding me back from doing my mission, by getting me into all sorts of things that were totally wrong for me. My problem when I was growing up, was that I was trying to be 'a good daughter' and I listened to them for too long. The result is that many years of my life, that could’ve been much more productive, were wasted. Almost everything that I was trying to build under my parents’ tutelage fell apart or didn’t go anywhere, because it was not rooted in my heart.
Bruce Lee didn't listen to anyone. He always did what he thought was right. As a result, some people thought he was arrogant. But in a way, his arrogance protected him from being led astray by the ‘well meaning’ but bad advice of others.
I became self directed, after studying with my Shamanic Mentor. He taught me how to cultivate my own intuition and hear my own Inner guidance clearly. I was born intuitive, clairvoyant and clairaudio. But without proper management of your spiritual talents and this type of spiritual technology, it may be even be worse than not having it. Because I’d be aware of too much at once. As an intuitive, if I could tap into the thoughts, feelings and dreams of everyone around me, and not be able to tell the difference between other people’s energy and my own, or which energies were beneficial and which were detrimental to me, it would be crazy making and impossible to ever focus on anything.
After many years of training with my mentor and on my own, how to properly manage my energy and my intuition, I can say that the training I got from my Shamanic Mentor seems very similar to the training Spiritual Martial Artists get. Maybe the same. I am clair-audio and have an on going dialogue with my Spiritual support team (aka Spirit Guides) about everything in my life, as did my Mentor. My Guides also teach me through my dreams. I’ve had Spiritually teaching dreams, and prophetic dreams since I was a child. I am always in training.
Because I listened to bad advice from 'well meaning' people in my teenage and young adult years, it took me a long time to find my self on the Spirit Warrior path. It took me much longer than was necessary, to develop my own style as a Spirit Warrior and Healer, and bring out my Warrior Medicine. If I did what Bruce Lee did, just followed my intuition as soon as it arose, and did my own thing, as soon as I felt the pull, I'd be much further ahead on my path. Perhaps I was learning about patience.
Nevertheless, let this be a lesson to all would be Spirit Warriors. Develop your intuition, sharpen your instincts, every day like your life depends on it. I tell my students and clients this all the time, and often they say 'I can't do that. I'm not on that level yet. Can you recommend something simpler?'
The answer is no. All Masters have had to do this. You have to learn to hear the guidance of your own Higher Power, within yourself clearly, and then take swift action, to carry it out. The most meaningful dialogue you will have in your life is with God.
Every person has a Master who lives within their heart. Become that Master. A clan of Master Spirit Warriors lives inside my heart. These beings protect me and guide me. I trust them. Life has shown me that my heart bond with other true Spirit Warriors is thicker than blood. I also have Healers, Shamans, and other Spiritual Beings on my Spiritual Support Team. They all play a role in my life. Each person has to develop a personal relationship and dialogue with their own Spiritual Support Team. Otherwise, you'll be like a ping pong ball, bouncing around from one 'well meaning' person's advice, to another. From one trend to another. From one emotion or whim to another.
Direction for righteous action comes from God/ Source within yourself. The great religions and traditions of the world teach us that we must cultivate compassion. What is compassion? Some say it’s a higher form of empathy. Empathy is not enough. What I concluded is that compassion is about giving all parts of you direction for optimal growth. Compassion is recognizing that all parts within yourself, beautiful and ugly, light and dark, peaceful and aggressive, civilized and wild, all of you must be put to serve a sacred cause. And all of your experiences are fertilizer for your self to grow, in service to a Sacred cause. Only in service to the Sacred cause, are you able to mulch all of your experiences and derive the essential nutrients out of them, to help you evolve as a human being to eventually reach enlightenment. Without direction from your Higher Power, a person will be at war within themselves and in conflict with everyone around them. Experiences will seem meaningless. Talents will seem like burdens.
Spirit Warrior Medicine is my own original form of healing, which is a synthesis of the many modalities which I’ve studied and practiced. Its main purpose is to aid individuals to develop their own personal clear connection with their own Higher Power, their inner Master/ Teacher and their Spiritual Support team. I also train people how to do their own healing and clear dark forces from themselves, their family, home, property, land, etc.
Many people want to develop their psychic/ intuitive gifts, but quit as soon as they encounter things that scare them or that they don’t understand. People need to realize that the universe and our own human history is not at all what we’ve been taught in school. Why do you want to develop your intuition if you don’t want to learn the truth? You have to be a devoted truth seeker to handle the difficulties of doing this work. If you start opening your 3rd eye, truth will come flooding in. I have been doing this work for a long time, and if you are interested in Spiritual Protection and Psychic Self Defense training, or Psychic Development training, than I can help you navigate that world, in a way that serves your spiritual growth and does not harm you. My goal is also to teach you how to heal yourself. All disease starts in the energy field and then trickles down into the physical. Part of my shamanic training involves, tracking the root causes of disease and clearing them at their root. If you would like to schedule a private reading or healing session, please contact me.
